Kinetic Reflex

Kinetic Reflex investigates human-machine feedback loops through the creation of a pneumatic wearable shirt, shifting from passive design to adaptive systems. Integrating multiple forms of sensors and pneumatic actuators, the wearable transforms the user's physical experience by adapting to spatial boundaries. By responding dynamically—expanding near walls or compressing in crowds —the system mimics natural body awareness, blurring the lines between the user and their environment. This constant interaction fosters an embodied connection, with the wearable becoming an extension of the user's own body that responds the same way as bio-involuntary responses.
