Creative Coding through Processing

The piece analyzes movement artistically through creative coding in Processing. The video shows two sets of codes I have written that adhere to two dance genres I filmed myself dancing. These codes act as a model in which any video or movements can be inserted and abstracted into lines and shapes. Connecting art and dance, the code visualizes my dynamic movements into tangible elements. It provides effects applied to phone filmed videos that usually require motion detectors or professional equipment.
