Paper Clay on Aluminum Tray

Individuality is a mixed media clay piece that utilizes a leftover aluminum tray and paper clay to create a design sculpture. Being the first time I experimented with paper clay, I wanted to create a piece that is simplistic but aesthetic and meaningful at the same time. I gained inspiration from exploring leftover scraps and pieces from the recycle bin. It emphasizes individual facial features to express how people should come to peace with their appearance because it is what makes each individual unique.
